First established in 1995 and re-launched in 2006, the Law Students Association of 2015-16 is humbled to announce its re-launch of the Third Edition of the Bond University Student Law Review. The Review is a prestigious student-run publication aimed at providing commentary on a wide spectrum of legal issues – from domestic to international.

The Bond University Student Law Reviewis an excellent initiative of the Bond University law students and provides an avenue for the publication of some of the very high quality writing that is produced in the Faculty. The Faculty prides itself on developing in our students a wide range of skills essential to lawyers in any field. This Review showcases in particular the exceptional research, writing and analytical skills developed by some of our top law students.

A source of pride for the Faculty is that the Student Law Review is a student initiative run by the students for the students. Their focus on quality has ensured that all published papers are subject to rigorous scrutiny. Articles are refereed by a professor with expertise in the relevant area and each article is then subject to thorough editing by the student committee.

The opportunity for students to publish in a refereed journal is rare. It will provide employers with clear evidence of student writing and the high level skills that they have developed. The Bond University Student Law Review can only enhance the reputation of both the Faculty and students by providing an avenue for publication of valuable scholarship.
